Exclusive Video: Pelosi And Sanders Confronted At Anti-Trump Rally On Capitol Hill

On Wednesday, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Bernie Sanders faced pointed questions from Loomer Unleashed during an anti-Trump rally on Capitol Hill. The event, organized by the Women’s March and Planned Parenthood Action Fund, has drawn scrutiny due to financial ties between these groups and Democrat political committees, as revealed by Federal Election Commission (FEC) records.

As Pelosi arrived to address the crowd—where chants of “No healthcare, No Peace” echoed—Loomer Unleashed pressed her on whether donations from Planned Parenthood Action Fund to the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries influenced her decision to speak at the rally. FEC records confirm that Planned Parenthood Action Fund contributed to both the DCCC and Jeffries during the 2024 election cycle. Pelosi, visibly avoiding the confrontation, retreated behind security personnel and did not respond before taking the stage.

Similarly, Senator Sanders, who also spoke at the rally, was questioned about Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s donations to the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) and whether these contributions influenced his participation. FEC filings show the group donated to the DSCC multiple times in 2024.

Sanders declined to answer, shielding himself behind staff as he left. His refusal to engage contrasts with his recent appearances at anti-Trump rallies in Michigan alongside United Auto Workers (UAW) President Shawn Fain. Fain, a vocal Trump critic, was photographed at one such event wearing a shirt that read “Eat the Rich.”

This is not the first time Loomer Unleashed has confronted high-profile figures at anti-Trump events. Last Friday, the outlet approached Bill Nye, known as “The Science Guy,” at a anti-Trump rally near the Lincoln Memorial, where protesters carried UAW picket signs. Nye, who spoke at the event, was questioned about his donations to Harris’ campaign but did not respond.

FEC records also indicate that Women’s March Inc spent funds against Trump and in support of Vice President Kamala Harris during the peak election months of October and November 2024.

Critics argue that the involvement of pro-Democrat groups like the Women’s March and Planned Parenthood Action Fund in organizing the anti-Trump protests undermines claims of grassroots authenticity. Democrat leaders insist their participation reflects genuine public sentiment, but financial records have fueled skepticism about the anti-Trump rallies’ independence.
